I am writing to thank you, your team, and Severn Trent Water for the response to my telephone request for the hedge alongside the Newtown Works to be cut back (which I made to Severn Trent Water HQ last week).

The mostly hawthorne hedge had become an inconvenience/danger to walkers and cyclists using the narrow towpath of the old canal.

I am delighted with the response and must also compliment your team on the quality of work at the hedge, where the equipment used and the skill of the men is producing a superb result. Enhanced safety and convenience for all.
