Ongoing maintenance

As part of our ongoing maintenance contract with Severn Trent Water we have recently completed the following jobs;

Replacing an old staircase with new case concrete spiral staircase. The existing decayed structure was removed. The new staircase was constructed with temporary propping fitted until the concrete had cured. The propping was cleared away and tarmac at the base reinstated.

Replacing tiled roof and renewing defective roof timbers. Access scaffolding was erected and the existing roof stripped of tiles. All defective roof timbers were replaced and new felt, battens and tiling fixed. Exposed timber was redecorated and finally the scaffolding was removed.

We have painters working full time on routine maintenance and larger projects.
