Health and Safety

It is the policy of Gardiners to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and with subsequent legislation and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.

Gardiners believes that the Health and Safety of its employees, customers and members of the public is essential, not only to the efficient operation of the business, but to the discharge of its social responsibilities.

We have a Director level Health and Safety representative, Chris Gardiner (Managing Director), who is responsible for making recommendations based on the ongoing management of the Health and Safety system and for reacting to changes to the legislation as and when this happens, backed up with professional advice when required.

Gardiners’ client base includes those who have sites where the potential for hazard is high, such as sewage and water treatment works and electrical sub-stations. Therefore we strive not just to meet our clients Health and Safety expectations but to exceed them.
