It is the policy of Gardiners to comply with the terms of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and with subsequent legislation and maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
Gardiners believes that the Health and Safety of its employees, customers and members of the public is essential, not only to the efficient operation of the business, but to the discharge of its social responsibilities.
We have a Top Management level H&S representative, Chris Gardiner (Safety Director), who is responsible for making recommendations based on the ongoing management of the H&S system and for reacting to changes to the legislation as and when this happens, backed up with professional advice from Safety Net.
We work for Local Authorities, Utility Companies, Statutory Bodies and Blue Chip Companies, all of whom insist on a very strong Health and Safety regime. We aim to exceed their requirements, not just meet them.
